The Quintero Nacionales is a medium flavoured short filler cigar from the southern part of Cuba in Cienfuegos, also known as the “Pearl of the South. It is officially made by the Tripa Corta, Totalmente a Mano ( short filler, totally hand made) – technique.
This has the benefit of allowing tobaccos from all over Cuba to be used in the construction of the cigar. So while still a bonafide hand made Cuban cigar, it is slightly cheaper than its 100% long-filler leaf counterparts.
