The Bolivar Belicoso Finos Reserva is an extremely limited edition cigar due to its rarity.
BELICOSO FINOS RESERVA
Bolivar is the first non-Global Habanos brand to be welcomed to the prestigious Habanos Reserva family. It is fitting that the Belicosos Finos is the vitola chosen to mark this occasion given the awareness and affection this cigar enjoys within the global cigar community.
The Reserva classification signifies that all the tobacco used has been aged in bales for three years before the cigars were rolled. Originally scheduled for release in 2020, the Bolivar Belicosos Finos Reserva uses tobaccos harvested in 2016.
Each Reserva release is made available in 5000 numbered lacquered boxes each containing 20 cigars. 100,000 cigars are produced for each release in total for the world market. The cigars are identifiable from a second “Reserva” band on them and the box includes a leaflet describing the date of the “cosecha” (harvest), from which all of the leaves used have been taken.
The first Reserva release was in 2003 and since 2012 a new Reserva cigar has been announced by Habanos S.A. biennially.

The Bolivar brand was created in 1902 and is based today in the Partagas factory which is in the heart of Havana.
