Fonseca Cosacos cigars are made using some of the finest tobaccos from the valley of Cibao. Each cigar is hand-made carefully made and then examined by the master of cigar maker, Manuel Quesada. First introduced in 1906, the image of Francisco Fonseca, who initially developed the brand, can still be found on the box today. The cigars instantly became a hit and the brand was responsible for the practice of wrapping the cigars in fine Japanese wrapping paper.Fonseca cigars are rare and only available with limited distribution. The brand is considered to have a rich, yet mild flavour.
