Frequently Asked The Nub Cigar Questions
Why smoke a Nub cigar?
The idea behind Nub is that a cigar hits its sweet spot in the final third, so why not start there? They are short and fat, which means you get the concentrated, developed flavours of a full-size cigar in around 45 minutes. The Nub Maduro Tubos 460 is a good one to begin with.
What is the nub of a cigar?
The nub is the stub left at the end of a smoke, the last inch or two where the flavours have concentrated most — the part many smokers rate highest. Oliva borrowed the name for its short, wide format built to deliver that character from the first draw. The Maduro Torpedo 464 and the Nub sampler show how the shape works.
